Although a secular approach makes more sense for those who don’t have a real faith component in their lives, those who have found a higher power will undoubtedly do better with a faith-based approach. When dealing with a serious and immediate addiction problem, it would seem more valuable to make immediate interventions and to subsequently work to build the faith of the addicted.

John … your statement makes no sense. Please quote the correct scripture to backup what you are saying. Angelo’s comments clearly shows he is using wisdom in his insights. They seem to be well thought out and based on scripture. Whatever you just stated sounds like we are suppose to be having pity on people not compassion. Pity gets you nowhere. Sin is a killer and should be kept in our English language or Christ came for naught. DW
